Our new Limited Edition colour
Our children’s future, their safety and comfort are at the heart of everything we do at BeSafe. Both by creating the safest car seats possible and contributing to what world today’s children will inherit.
With the introduction of our new Limited Edition, we take sustainability in our products to the next level. With the same ideals fought for by today’s young environmentalists, we strive to create a clean legacy for new generations. That’s why we decided to use recycled plastic in the fabric of the Limited Edition seats and also support The Waste Free Oceans Foundation financially, an organisation collecting and transforming ocean plastic. Therefore, when you choose a Limited Edition, you invest in an ocean with less plastic debris through the great work done by the organisation.
Recycled plastic and clean, blue oceans mean a brighter future. That is why Blue Legacy is the name of BeSafe’s new Limited Edition.
Contribute to our children’s future
To experience nature and explore the oceans might be a given for you and us. But maybe not in the future and maybe not for everyone.
Plastic waste is one of the main reasons why the world’s oceans are being polluted. We can’t change everything, but we can do something. Our children are our future and preserving the ocean is an important part of this.
For this Limited Edition, we have entered into a cooperation with the organisation The Waste Free Oceans Foundation. This gives you the opportunity to contribute to our children’s future by supporting a 5-days ocean clean-up when you purchase a BeSafe iZi Flex FIX i-Size Blue Legacy Limited Edition.
Made from plastic bottles
The textile cover of this child car seat is made from 28 recycled plastic bottles. These plastic bottles have been collected, sorted, cleaned, crushed and melted. They are then spun into a soft material that is comfortable, chemical-tested and most importantly eco-friendly. It reduces the burden to our earth, and it protects our environment.
Because we not only care about your children’s safety, we also care about their future.
Facts about plastic in the ocean:
- More than 8 million tonnes of plastic enter the oceans each year
- This equals dumping 1 garbage truck per minute into the sea
- By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean
- By 2050 99% of sea birds will have ingested plastic materials
- Plastic waste kills more than 100.000 sea mammals and turtles each year
