Stokke and BeSafe deepen their long-standing cooperation
Stokke, like Besafe, is a Norwegian company. Stokke began their success story over 80 years ago on the West coast of Norway in Alesund. At the beginning, Stokke produced furniture for adults and in 1972 Stokke launched the iconic Stokke Tripp Trapp chair. Since then, the Stokke product range has grown to pushchairs, child textilies and furnishings for the children’s room.
BeSafe and Stokke – a journey together
BeSafe and Stokke started the cooperation in 2010 when we launched the baby car seat Stokke iZi Sleep by BeSafe. Basically the same baby car seat as BeSafe iZi Sleep, but with specially designed fabrics for matching Stokke’s pushchair range. The Stokke iZi Sleep by BeSafe could be clicked on to Stokkes pushchairs without adapters and be used as a travel system.
In 2012 we expanded our cooperation further and introduced Stokke iZi Go by BeSafe on the market. A new, lighter baby car seat adapted for active, mobile parents. Stokke iZi Go by BeSafe remains a part of the Stokke range in most parts of the world.
Stokke and iZi Modular
We at BeSafe are extremely pleased to once again announce a new phase in our partnership with Stokke, this time based on our new car seat concept iZi Modular. From February 2016, it is now official that Stokke iZi Go Modular by BeSafe will become a part of the Stokke range. The baby car seat is the same as the BeSafe iZi Go Modular i-Size but will be launched with Stokke’s own colour collection.
Stokke iZi Go Modular by BeSafe can easily be attached on Stokkes pushchairs and be used as a travel system, without using any adapters.
It can be installed in the car either with the cars three-point adult belt or be clicked in to the i-Size approved ISOfix-base, BeSafe iZi Modular i-Size base.
Let the car seat grow with your child
Stokke iZi Go Modular grows with the child in several steps. The iZi Modular concept consists of one base and two car seats. It allows you to continue using the base by adding the next car seat iZi Modular. iZi Modular will easily click on to the base and offers you and your child all the unique and innovative functions that we offer in our other car seat models. An innovative module concept in two steps; One base, two car seats – one complete solution for children 0-4 years.
